FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is there a contact that I need to sign?
NO. Your service can be stopped at any time with a simple phone call or email at least 24 hours prior to your next scheduled service.
Is there an extra charge for the initial service or can I just get a one-time service?
If your yard has accumulated an excessive amount of waste, or its your initial cleaning, you will be charged the One-Time service rate. All visits thereafter will be billed at the normal monthly rate.
Does your company work in bad weather?
YES, we usually work in light to moderate rain, but heavy rainfall may stop us from doing our job properly. Weather permitting we will try to make up any missed service during the same week. If we know that heavy snow is coming we may schedule service a day early, or later during the week, depending on how the snow falls.
What about holidays?
We do not work the following days: New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Independence Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We will come a day earlier/later to accomodate the missed visit.
Should I unlock my gate?
YES. We will not climb or jump over fences. Please have your gate unlocked on your service day. You may provide us with a key to the lock or let us know the combination if that is convenient for you.
Can you work with my dog in the yard?
In most cases, YES. We get along well with dogs; however, there are some cases when a dog will not allow us into the yard. If you know that your dog is not good with strangers, or it becomes apparent that your dog will not allow us to clean your yard, we ask that you restrain or confine your dog. We don't wish to take unnecessary risks with your dog or us.
Do I have to be home when my yard is being serviced?
NO. We like to come out on our initial visit and introduce ourselves and meet with you and your dog(s). But after the initial visit there is no need for you to be at home during our service calls.
What do you do with the waste?
All waste is double bagged and deposited in your trash receptacles.
What if I need to skip a scheduled service day?
You will not be charged for a skipped service day if you call us at least 24 hours in advance. We will then reschedule your service date at a time that is more convenient for you. Please note that if you do not reschedule your service within 7 days, when your service resumes, you will be charged according to the amount of accumulation since our last visit. Also, a service call will be charged if we are locked out of your property, your dog does not allow us entry on your scheduled service date or if you do not give us 24 hours advanced notice to skip service.
How will I be billed for your services?
The initial clean up fee (if applicable) is payable at the time of service. All regularly scheduled weekly service visits are to be paid in full prior to our coming out to your home. We will happily take cash or check on the initial service day for the next four weeks. After that, an invoice will be sent to you. As long as payment is received before the four-week period is up, your service will not be discontinued. You are not required to sign a contract. Service can be stopped or changed at any time so there is never any pressure. A $35.00 fee will be charged for all returned checks.
Can you tell me about your "Satisfaction Guaranteed" promise?
We promise that you be happy with our service or you don't have to pay for it. We know our business depends on doing excellent work, and it's the quality of our service on which we stake our success. We're working very hard to make our name mean reliable, high quality service. We strive to provide perfect service,but if there is ever a time when our service is not completely satisfactory, please let us know within 24 hours. We will make it right either by coming back to re-clean the yard or by crediting your account.
